Your Questions, Answered

-
Lagree is a high-intensity, low-impact method that uses slow, controlled movements on a specialised machine to challenge multiple muscle groups simultaneously. Built around time under tension, it's one of the most effective and joint-friendly workouts available. It's also a live method, meaning it continues to evolve with the goal of becoming safer and more effective over time.
-
Both use spring-based resistance, but Lagree is its own distinct method. Where Pilates tends to be slower and more restorative, Lagree is designed to push the body to its limit through sustained muscular effort. The equipment is different too: Lagree uses machines like the Megaformer and Miniformer Pro, engineered specifically for the method.
-
To become a certified Lagree instructor, you complete a certification course delivered by a licensed Lagree Master Trainer. Sarah offers certifications across the UK and Europe, typically structured as 18 to 24 hours of training over three to four days. Courses are hosted at partnering studios and include hands-on machine time, methodology training, and practical teaching experience.

Sarah Reimann is the UK's first Lagree Master Trainer and the founder of Tallie, Scotland's most-loved Lagree studio. She works with instructors and studio owners across the UK and Europe who want to build something that holds up, and teaches internationally from her bases in Edinburgh, London, and Copenhagen.
-
Sarah holds the most rigorous credential available within the Lagree method and has built her own studio from the ground up. Her approach is precise, warm, and focused on genuine understanding rather than simply delivering a course. Instructors leave her trainings with the kind of depth that changes how they think in the room, not just what they do in it.
